In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we invite you to join a workshop entitled Disability Etiquette and Awareness.  This event will be facilitated by ⁠The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities. This 90-minute session is a practical, engaging guide to interacting with people with disabilities in a variety of contexts. The workshop will cover a number of topics including:

• Disability etiquette basics
• The evolution of disability language and labels
• Preferred terms
• How to assist individuals on a 1 on 1 basis
• Why inclusion matters
